About Us
Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research and comparison site for adults in the UK who want to understand casinos and betting sites not on GamStop before they sign up. This page explains what we do, how we reach our ratings, how the site is funded and what we cannot tell you.
We do not list an author name on this page, and we do not claim credentials we cannot show. What we can show is our method, our sources and the limits of our evidence.
What we publish and why
Sites that do not take part in GamStop, the self-exclusion scheme for licensed operators in Great Britain, are often described in glossy terms. Our aim is to replace the gloss with plain explanation. Our guides cover:
- Welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free spins, no-deposit offers and cashback, with the wagering requirements, maximum bet rules, expiry dates and cashout caps that decide whether an offer is worth having
- Payments: debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, PayPal availability, cryptocurrency, fees, currency conversion and GBP accounts
- Withdrawals: processing times, limits, identity and source-of-funds checks, and how disputes work
- Games: slots, progressive jackpots, live dealer tables, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, software providers, RTP and volatility
- Sports betting: pre-match and in-play markets, esports, accumulators, bet builders, cash-out and minimum qualifying odds, always shown in decimal odds
- Protections: complaints routes, deposit and loss limits, self-exclusion, blocking software and GamCare
Our main comparison is on the non GamStop casinos list. Our responsible gambling page covers support and safer-play tools.
What "not on GamStop" actually means
We want readers to understand this before anything else. The UK Gambling Commission regulates gambling for customers in Great Britain, and licensed operators must join GamStop. A site outside that system usually holds an overseas licence, such as one from Curaçao. That is not the same as being authorised by the UK Gambling Commission, and a site accepting British customers is not the same as being permitted to serve them under British rules.
In practice this can mean weaker dispute routes, no access to UK-specific complaint schemes and no GamStop exclusion. If you have self-excluded, these sites undermine the protection you chose. We say so directly in our reviews. If gambling is causing you harm, please use the support on our responsible gambling page or contact GamCare.
How we research casinos
We have no testing evidence to offer. We do not claim that our team deposited, played or withdrew. Our ratings come from desk research and verification of published material:
- Reading each operator's published terms, bonus rules, payment pages and licensing statements
- Checking what a site says about its licence, ownership and complaints route, and noting what is unclear
- Comparing bonus conditions: wagering, game contribution, maximum bet, expiry and cashout limits
- Reviewing stated payment methods, minimum deposits, withdrawal limits and verification requirements
- Looking at the game range, software providers and sports betting offered
- Reviewing how support and complaints are described
We separate three kinds of information: what we have confirmed from a primary source, what is casino advertising, and what remains unresolved. Time-sensitive findings carry a date. Our last fact-check for this page was 30 September 2026. Offers and terms change often, so always read the current terms on the operator's own site.
How the ranking works
The ratings shown on our lists are editorial scores. They are our own assessment, not customer review scores. Sites such as Betmica, Kikibet and Betninja sit near the top of the current selection, and every site we list has drawbacks we try to name, such as large bonuses carrying heavy wagering, or an overseas licence offering less recourse than a UK one.
The headline offers you see on the cards, for instance a percentage match up to a stated amount with free spins, are advertised figures. Some are quoted in euros or dollars, which matters if you hold a GBP account because currency conversion can add cost. A bigger headline does not mean a better offer.
How we are funded
We may earn a commission if you sign up to an operator through a link on this site. That is how the site pays for itself. Commission does not buy position or a better rating, and operators cannot pay to change what we write. Nonetheless, you should know the commercial relationship exists when weighing our advice. Our terms and conditions set out how you may use the site.
What we will not say
- That any casino is completely safe
- That withdrawals or winnings are guaranteed
- That gambling is a way to earn income or solve money problems
Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over, and it costs money. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and use deposit and loss limits where they are offered.
